In this game reserve are placed under protection for about 1000 plant species, meaning half of all species of flora Moldova, 43 species of mammals, 145 bird species, 7 reptile species, 10 species of amphibian and over 10 thousand species of insects. In the perimeter of the game reserve there is a representative meadow area and a rich Museum of Nature.

In June together with the beneficiaries of the Day Care Centre Rasarit and from theВP Centre Spectru we were on a trip to this reserve. The direction of the reserve offered the excursion for free! They offered it with joy, and the beneficiaries gave in return a lot of bright smiles! ВPThe beneficiaries felt their sincere interest and respect.

The oldest scientific reserve in Moldova Codri ВPis located near Lozova village, 50 km from Chisinau, and was founded on September 27, 1971.
